The release of Cyberpunk 2077 on OnePlus’ most recent smartphone, the OnePlus 8T, was recently announced. Pre-orders for the new model, which is currently only offered in China for CNY 300 more than the basic version, begin on November 2 and are available for CNY 3,999. The new skin is a limited edition and the real sale begins on November 11th.

Physically Design

The phone’s physical design is almost unaltered from the standard OnePlus 8T. Connectivity Option

Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with compatibility for Band 40 used by select LTE networks in India), and 5G are among the connectivity choices for the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition. The phone has a proximity sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/magnetometer, and gyroscope. Camera Review

The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition has four cameras on the back: a 48-megapixel (f/1.7) main camera, a 16-megapixel (f/2.2), a 5-megapixel, and a 2-megapixel camera. The configuration for the back camera features autofocus. It sports a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

Display Design

The 6.55-inch display remains intact, thus holding the phone is identical to holding the normal 8T. Being so beautiful, you probably won’t want to conceal it in a case, so use caution if you take it outdoors.

Software Outlook

The phone is powered by OnePlus software, which has received a cyberpunk makeover and has hip new icons and backdrops. However, It has Android OS that is much swifter for gaming and other applications.

What’s New, Though? 

The design is significantly different from the standard version, with the larger camera module now taking up a sizeable section of the phone’s rear. The Cyberpunk 2077 logo is located in the additional space. While the centre of the rear seems to resemble OnePlus’ sandstone cover, we are unable to confirm this at this time. The extra glass cover has another Cyberpunk 2077 emblem at the bottom.

Box Items

With the exception of the added Cyberpunk 2077 branding, the 65W OnePlus charger included in the retail packaging is identical to the ordinary one. The box also comes with a protective casing that has openings on the rear for the glass panels. Also included are custom UI styles, live wallpapers, and pertinent icons.

Verizon Warranty

Although the deal necessitates a carrier change, Verizon is promoting its recent Christmas offer of up to $1,000 off a new phone with a trade-in. Verizon is giving existing customers up to $800 off with a trade-in, but you’d also need to be on one of its pricier Play More, Do More, Get More, or One Unlimited plans to qualify for the offer.

Similar to AT&T, Verizon mandates a 36-month commitment, albeit it will take damaged or broken phones as long as the battery is undamaged.

Price Range

If you use T-Mobile, the company will discount trade-in Samsung Galaxy phones by up to $800, but only if you already have or are prepared to switch to their more costly Magenta Max plan. 

With a trade-in, those with different plans might save up to $400, which isn’t as much as AT&T or Verizon are willing to provide. In fact, it seems that upgrading to Magenta Max, adding a second line, or leaving another carrier is necessary for the majority of T-Mobile packages right now.

On the bright side, T-Mobile credits often last 24 months rather than 36 months like AT&T and Verizon, releasing you from a three-year commitment to a network or device.
