Deep Pockets
This product was one of the first ones I was so eager to test when I first got interested in Korean beauty roughly two years ago! She has received several mentions on Asian Beauty message boards and has been on the Korean beauty programme Get It Beauty, where South Korean celebrities divulge their beauty tips. I was delighted to get a FREE full-size jar from Althea Korea after my purchases met the required threshold. Was it worth all the buzz now that I finally understood it? Apply the necessary quantity to the face after washing (avoid the eye and mouth area). Massage and combine with water or toner to lessen skin irritability. Combine a teaspoon of this mask with a cleansing oil for even greater results. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes, rinse with warm water.

My skin felt really clean and there was no greasy aftertaste when I completely wiped it off. My skin was smooth, spotless, and glowing. The outcome demonstrated why this mask is among the best-selling items in the line. After application, I assumed it would leave a greasy sensation like the Freeman Apricot Skin Cream Scrub, which is difficult to remove. It is really quite the reverse, however. Although it is a moisturizing mask, it is suitable for all skin types and doesn’t cause any skin irritation or breakouts. This mask may also serve as a moderate scrub for you if you have sensitive skin and dislike strong exfoliants.
Both masks were fantastic overall, and I adored them. Both leave the skin feeling clean, moisturized, and somewhat brighter. While the rice mask is a moderate exfoliation for sensitive skin, the black sugar mask is a powerful exfoliator.
SMELL: Lemon over sugar is the predominant scent.
PACKAGING: It is simply packaged with brown labelling on a plastic box. However, early in 2017, they replaced the labels with larger letters and graphics, but the plastic packaging remained the same. It was visible right here.
RESULT: I think this stuff is overly harsh. Therefore, even if you dilute it with water or washing oil, I don’t advise using this scrub on your face if you have sensitive skin or acne. It bothers my skin more than exfoliating, so I stopped using it. When I recalled a segment on Get It Beauty where the idol mentioned using this Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off on his body, particularly his elbows and knees for peeling, I decided against giving this product to a friend or family member who could like it.
I gave it a try, and it did really work; my elbows and knees now seem brighter and have a gentle exfoliation. When it’s too chilly to use the Human Nature Volcanic Cooling Body Scrub, I now store it in the bathroom for my monthly body scrub.
